It seems as if the search engine that I was relying on for my site
was reporting, falsely, that there were no results found for 90% of
my pages. Rather that risk losing vistors due to this inaccuracy, I
have decided to remove that feature until I can find a reliable
search engine to use.

As of today, going on the advise of mortormow on the Google
Webmaster Central Help Forum, in an effort to increase the Google
ranking of this site, there will no longer be a main intro page.
This page will now serve as the doorway to the entire site. Maybe
this will help drive visitors to this wonderful web site! ;)

Added manuals to almost all of the computers in the
Computer Division

I have added an Opinion Page where I
plan on showcasing my various Rants.

I've updated a couple of the computer descriptions and added my
newly acquired Atari 800XL. You will also notice I've added a
Search Bar as well Search pages to both the Robot and Computer
Division. I've uploaded a sitemap to Google's webcrawler, but they
only seem to have about 250 pages out of the 1,600 on my site.
Until they get around to crawling the rest, I wouldn't rely on the
search results too heavily. If you search for something and you
don't see what you're looking for, email me.

We are now proud to present, thanks to bigfunstoys,
the only online instruction manual (to my knowledge) for the
Worlds of Wonder Julie doll.

You may be wondering why there are balloons floating all over
your page. Or if you have JavaScript disabled, you're probably
just wondering what on earth I am babbling about. In any event
there is a simple answer - There are now ONE HUNDRED
robots in my own personal collection! Please, please... There
is no need for applause... Well, if you insist! : )

Today was a fantastic Thrift Store Day! We found a Teddy Ruxpin, a
Grubby, a nighttime outfit for Teddy, a Lullaby book and tape set
for Teddy (come to think of it, maybe it was Teddy's day!), a new
Pumpkin flashlight for
Elevyn and a Commodore 1520 printer/plotter - all at different
stores in different cities! I'll add photos as soon as I can.

I would just like to welcome the newest member
of our family to Robots And Computers.

I felt bad for you Robot guys, so I added several more manuals to
the site, bringing the total to over 150! Enjoy...

Don't want you thinking that we've abandonded ship around here! I
haven't been doing much on the Robot side of the moon, but over on
the Computer side, I've been quite a little busy beaver! I've added
several new systems and updated a few of the regulars. Check 'em
out...

Now online - my Tesla Coil page

Just so you don't think we've been sitting around doing nothing, I am
happy to announce that we are at 45 system in the
Computer Division. Also, I will be adding
a new page here soon - a place for me to publish articles and opinions that
I have written, most of which were published in local newspapers.

I have removed the dead links on the Personality pages promising
manuals that I haven't found yet. I've also added a few new
systems to the Computer Division.

This website is now completely run and maintained using
Ubuntu Linux. Even if
you've never used Linux before, I highly recommend you give it a try.

If for some reason you have a remote laying around without anything to
use it with, maybe you don't know what robot to look for. Now you can
look it up on the Remote Controls page and
cross reference it to it's associated robot.

For those of you who haven't noticed, I've given the site a new look. Let
me know what you think of it - good or bad...

Again, nothing that you as a reader will notice, but I have completely
rewritten the Little Tikes
page using PHP with a single function call for each cell. Even if you can't
appreciate the full impact of that feat, it makes my life a WHOLE
lot simpler when I need to add to or rearrange the cells on that page!
