I found a t-shirt on the internet (sent to me by the designer) that you guys are going to LOVE! It is entered in a contest, and for it to be printed and sold, it needs your votes to win. Please go to this web site and cast your vote. I looked at the other shirts in the contest and I can honestly say that this one is head and shoulders above the rest!

I received my second TGIMBOEJ box in the mail today. I'm still sorting through it and already I can't wait for my next! :) You can check it out here.

WOW! Three boxes of flashlights from three different donators in the past week! I just wish you guys could see my gf's face when these things arrive. Keep 'em coming. In the mean time, you can check the newest additions out here.

I have redone the robots photos, going from low quality GIF files to a higher quality PNG file. Since I now have over 100 robots, I have also added a page displaying the collection as images instead of text. the text version is sill available by a link on the main collection page. I noticed that the pages are not displaying the text the same on every page, so I will be working on those as time allows.

After several emails, it has come to my attention that certain pages are not being display properly on Microsoft-based software. Since I do not use or endorse any of the bloated, bug-ridden, over-priced, unstable software that comes from that company, these pages were designed on an Ubuntu Linux system and originally tested on the Mozilla Firefox browser, and now on the Google Chrome browser. These are the only two that I can guarantee to display these pages as I have designed them. I have tried to make them as IE compatible as possible, but... If you come across a page that IE cannot handle, please let me know and I will try to fix it.

   03-11-10
We've added several new Robotic Owner's Manuals - especially the elusive Tekno Kitty. Also, thanks to an anonymous benefactor, my girlfriend has numerous new flashlights added to her Collectors Page... check it out. And while you're there, don't forget to sign her GuestBook!

The makers of the Spykee robot, Erector/Meccano, have finally released the Source Code for the firmware. You can download it from their web site here.

WooHoo! After quite a while, I finally have a new robot to add to my collection! I guess when you have over a hundred robots, findin new ones to add gets difficult...

It was reported to me that the Guest Book was not working. I believe that I have correct the problem, so if you haven't done so yet, now would be the perfect time to let your comments be heard!

Here is wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas (notice I didn't say 'Happy Holidays') and a Happy New Year!

Ok...Nothing is more reliable than a search engine hosted on my own server. The script that I am using indexes my entire site, so now no matter what you are looking for, if it is on my site, you can find it. The Search link is at the top of every page.

   11-11-09
It seems as if the search engine that I was relying on for my site was reporting, falsely, that there were no results found for 90% of my pages. Rather that risk losing vistors due to this inaccuracy, I have decided to remove that feature until I can find a reliable search engine to use.

As of today, going on the advise of mortormow on the Google Webmaster Central Help Forum, in an effort to increase the Google ranking of this site, there will no longer be a main intro page. This page will now serve as the doorway to the entire site. Maybe this will help drive visitors to this wonderful web site! ;)

Added manuals to almost all of the computers in the Computer Division

   10-18-09
I have added an Opinion Page where I plan on showcasing my various Rants.

   10-14-09
I've updated a couple of the computer descriptions and added my newly acquired Atari 800XL. You will also notice I've added a Search Bar as well Search pages to both the Robot and Computer Division. I've uploaded a sitemap to Google's webcrawler, but they only seem to have about 250 pages out of the 1,600 on my site. Until they get around to crawling the rest, I wouldn't rely on the search results too heavily. If you search for something and you don't see what you're looking for, email me.

We are now proud to present, thanks to bigfunstoys, the only online instruction manual (to my knowledge) for the Worlds of Wonder Julie doll.

   09-16-09
Today marks the historic acquisition of our 100th robot!

   09-16-09
You may be wondering why there are balloons floating all over your page. Or if you have JavaScript disabled, you're probably just wondering what on earth I am babbling about. In any event there is a simple answer - There are now ONE HUNDRED robots in my own personal collection! Please, please... There is no need for applause... Well, if you insist! : )

Today was a fantastic Thrift Store Day! We found a Teddy Ruxpin, a Grubby, a nighttime outfit for Teddy, a Lullaby book and tape set for Teddy (come to think of it, maybe it was Teddy's day!), a new Pumpkin flashlight for Elevyn and a Commodore 1520 printer/plotter - all at different stores in different cities! I'll add photos as soon as I can.

   08-17-09
I would just like to welcome the newest member of our family to Robots And Computers.

   07-30-09
I felt bad for you Robot guys, so I added several more manuals to the site, bringing the total to over 150! Enjoy...

   07-28-09
Don't want you thinking that we've abandonded ship around here! I haven't been doing much on the Robot side of the moon, but over on the Computer side, I've been quite a little busy beaver! I've added several new systems and updated a few of the regulars. Check 'em out...

Now online - my Tesla Coil page

   05-20-09
Just so you don't think we've been sitting around doing nothing, I am happy to announce that we are at 45 system in the Computer Division. Also, I will be adding a new page here soon - a place for me to publish articles and opinions that I have written, most of which were published in local newspapers.

   04-16-09
I have removed the dead links on the Personality pages promising manuals that I haven't found yet. I've also added a few new systems to the Computer Division.

   03-02-09
This website is now completely run and maintained using Ubuntu Linux. Even if you've never used Linux before, I highly recommend you give it a try.

   02-03-09
If for some reason you have a remote laying around without anything to use it with, maybe you don't know what robot to look for. Now you can look it up on the Remote Controls page and cross reference it to it's associated robot.

   01-28-09
For those of you who haven't noticed, I've given the site a new look. Let me know what you think of it - good or bad...

   01-17-09
Again, nothing that you as a reader will notice, but I have completely rewritten the Little Tikes page using PHP with a single function call for each cell. Even if you can't appreciate the full impact of that feat, it makes my life a WHOLE lot simpler when I need to add to or rearrange the cells on that page!
