Garmin was the first company to combine a GPS and a PDA and this is that unit. Built on the Palm OS 5 system, this was the top of the line system of it's time. And with a 200MHz CPU, it's still quite impressive IMHO. Although the iQue comes complete with a whole host of software pre-installed, you can add almost any title available for the Palm platform.

The GPS features a built-in, flip-up antenna as well as a connector for an external antenna. With a 12 parallel channel receiver and WAAS mode, accuracy of less than three meters. By using the City Select maps included with the iQue and voice assisted turn-by-turn navigation you'll never be lost again.

The only complaint I have with this is that the mapping software that comes pre-installed, while extremely accurate - taking me straight to addresses out here in the boondocks that my other GPS programs don't even acknowledge existing - the roads are drawn as thin lines that are difficult to see. I've grown rather used to the well-drawn 3D maps and interface of TomTom that I run on my iPaq RX3715. Unfortunately, TomTom's latest software will not run on the iQue. Since sometimes older is better, if anyone happens to have a copy of, or know where I can find, TomTom v4.00 or v4.25 please let me know. Thanks...
