This is a Furby Baby. Not really any different from the original Furby 'classic' except that they are smaller, more brightly colored and cannot dance. They don't respond to voice like the later incarnations either, but rather to sound, touch, light and movement. Starting out, they speak a 'language' called Furbish for the most part. As they 'mature,' they start speaking English more than their native language. If you take good care of the latest addition to your family, he will reward you with light conversation and games. He will even talk to other classic Furbies through the heart-shaped IR port between his eyes.
Not really sure about the hack-ability of these compared to the originals...
