This is a unique addition to my museum collection. Although it is, in essence,
a computer in and of itself, it can't do much of anything without another
computer connected to it. The NetTerminal is, as it's name implies, a terminal
rather than a full-fledged stand-alone computer. It will allow up to twelve
sessions to run at one time, where a session can be one of the following types:
a telnet session using TCP/IP or SLIP, a dumb terminal (ASCII) session using a
serial cable or a Hayes-compatible modem, a remote display session using TCP/IP,
or a web browser session connected to a Windows NT server running NetTerminal
Services software... whew! That's a mouthful!
In addition to the required PS/2 mouse and keyboard connectors, there is also a
standard SVGA monitor port, two RS-232C/DB9 serial ports, a Centronics/DB25
parallel printer port, one 10/100 Base-T and two 10/100 Base-2 ethernet ports.
