Omnibot
item #5402 by Tomy

image missing

I got this little guy as a package deal - Omnibot and Omnibot 2000 - neither had remotes or batteries. I just found the remote on eBay, but I still haven't tried him out yet. I've got my fingers crossed, though. Physically, he is in good condition - no yellowing or cracks and the dome is in good shape. I did have to make new battery contacts for the AA battery compartment. The metal that I used isn't quiet springy enough, but it works for the time being. Aside from that, he works great. I can't get him to play the program tapes that I have (thanks to theOldRobots.com), but when I record the program steps on a blank tape they play back just fine.

I still need a tray for this fella. If you happen to have a tray that you would be willing to part with, please email me!
